How to play FLV?

Although Flash Video files are normally delivered using a Flash player for control, the .FLV file itself is fully-functional on its own and can be played or converted to other formats from local storage such as a hard disk or a CD. How to play FLV from local drive?

There are mainly 3 ways if you use Web FLV Player:
1) Drag and drop FLV file into Video to Flash Converter window.
2) Go to menu File > Open FLV Files, and locate the FLV.
3) Go to menu Tools > Associate .FLV File, then double click on any FLV files.

How to play FLV from URL?

In Video to Flash Converter, go to menu File > Open URL, paste the URL in the blank then press OK, then Video to Flash Converter will play the FLV source from the URL entered.

How to convert other video formats to FLV?

Go to menu File > Open FLV File, select video files from your hard drive, then double click on the video in left window of Video to Flash Converter, or click the Convert button in menu bar. And you can move to Publish Tab, then fill in the Output Folder address, or click Browse button to define where to put the converted FLV files.

Video to Flash Converter will automatically recognize the FLV files and show "completed" state directly.

How to publish FLV for web use?

If you like to share an FLV movie with friends or family members through your website or blog, when watching it in Video to Flash Converter, you can do it very easily. Go to Tab Publish, you can change the output Flash file name and html file name, but do not change xml file name, just keep it as "slides.xml". Changing it might cause the SWF file to "Load fail". You can also choose "Create Flash File Only", then click Publish button. After the process finishes, a window will pop up, you can choose "View Web Page" or "Open output Folder ". With opening output folder, you can find all files which are used to embed videos to the web site, and you just need to upload the output files, including HTML/SWF/FLV files, to your website or blog, then input some embed codes before making it working.
